Transport from Belgium to Devnya, Bulgaria September 2014

In August and September 2014, Unishipping Intl ltd together with Belgium partner has performed delivery of equipment for the Belgium chemical producer Solvay and its local factory in Bulgaria which is the biggest European facility of the group. Equipment consisted of total 6 tanks, 4 of which with diameter of about 5.50m, max length 12.00m and unit gross weight 25t, delivered by chartered vessel as deck option from Antwerp to Varna. We in partnership with Belgium partner were in charge for all operations in Belgium, including sea freight and all local operations in Bulgaria. Special attention needed to be given to the seaworthy lashing & securing as no sufficient lashing eyes were available on the tanks. The other 2 tanks with diameter about 4.10m, max length 14.42m and unit gross weight 22t, has been loaded on extendable lowbed trailers for direct trucking from Belgium to Bulgaria arranged by Unishipping. Whole equipment has been delivered successfully without any delay and damage.
